Pulau Sembilan, Perak - The mysterious phenomena of the Blue tear (蓝眼泪) -Day 1

It's really been a long time not updating my blog, just return from Pulau Sembilan and would like to blog it when it is still fresh in my mind.

There is only 2 agency in order to go Pulau Sembilan as followed:
Hai Xing (海星) : https://www.facebook.com/pulausembilanicestar/?fref=ts
9 Island Agency  (环岛旅游业) : https://www.facebook.com/Nineislandagency/

We choose Hai xing as it offers cheaper package than the other agency, 2 days 1 night for RM 270. The package inclusive of the following and the itinerary would be at the end of the post.

We departed early and arrive at the Bagan Datoh jetty by 8:30 am for our simple breakfast. The directions to the jetty would also be provided by the agency, but here is the address in case you would like to have it. If you are thinking to go to the place and only self-travel to the island, it would not be possible as you will still need to engage one travel agency to bring you over.
Address: 19 Bagan Sungai Burung, 36100,Bagan Datoh, Perak, Malaysia
GPS coordinates 3.976826, 100.705519

Before the details, here is a panaroma view of pulau sembilan, such a beauty.
We arrive the jetty by 8:30am, and had a simple breakfast provided by the agency which is our local delicacy - Nasi Lemak. We also bought a pack of Teluk Intan's famous Chee cheong Fan.

After that we set off to the island by boat, the ride took us half an hour.

When we arrived, we chill by the seaside while waiting for our next activity.

We also helped to set up our own tents for the night, the people in the agency is friendly and they even gave us a medium tent which we are supposed to have a small tent. They gave us the medium tent as there was only 30 plus of us during this weekend.

Preparing to chill, cheers! (We brought along our own drinks and the agency gave us unlimited free ice, you could also buy the alcoholic drinks on the island but it will be slightly more expensive and there is not much variety).

The next in the itinerary is to pray at one of the famous trees in the island, but we are not interested and skip it. The agency brought a few of us to go fishing instead.

The catch of the day is only a few small fishes, we then went back to the island for lunch.

The guys went for a swim, played darts and mahjong while waiting for 1:30pm to go for snorkeling.

We then set off for snorkeling and came back for tea-break. (We never had a chance to get hungry, as we have 5 meals a day :) and the people there are really friendly)

Getting our rest after the snorkeling with our alcoholic drinks to cool ourselves.

Our tea break, red bean soup with fried chicken and prawn biscuit. Nice :)

After tea break, one of the person in charge took us for a small hike. This was the view from the hills, we didn't go "wah" when we saw this view.

The person in charge then told us he can bring us to view even a nicer view but it a little tough trail. Of course we nodded our heads and set off. It was not easy as it was not a trail open for people to hike. But the hike was worth it.

The unopen trail.

The rope to help us with the steep hike.

There was swings and also hammocks set up by the locals for us to enjoy.

It was already around 5pm and went for squid fishing. Thank God there was a few catch during the trip.

Spot the hubby's face, LOL!

The locals cut the squid immediately after we arrive the shore for us to enjoy shasimi with washabi!
The taste was crunchy, chewy with sea aroma. Love it!
We didn't want to bath and went into the sea to enjoy ourselves, since it was a 2 days 1-night trip, we really did maximize our trip fully.

We had an awesome dinner with fresh seafood as well. I ate 2 crabs myself too, cant keep my excitement for seafood.

After dinner, we took our baths and wait for the most important event we came here for, which is to see the mysterious phenomena called the "Blue tear" (蓝眼泪). Thank God we are able to see, but only a few, the blue tear can be captured without flash light. Here are some of our precious shots.

We had our last meal of the night which is BBQ, at this point of time, my tummy could not hold any food anymore, I just had only a few bites of those corns.

The day ends here and we tuck ourselves to our tents. We thought that we would feel cold in the tent during the night. But, we were actually sweating all the way that we could not have a good rest. However, we are more than thankful for such a good day of different activities.

Here is the itinerary provided by the agency.
